We launched our contactless donation solution earlier in the year and it was very well received by charities. We had really good feedback on donation acceptance, how our solutions transformed fundraising and helped charities generate new incremental income.
But were we satisfied? No, we wanted to build a really great solution. Something that was simple for donors, staff and fundraisers, but that also provided the highest level of card acceptance and provided detailed data for financial and campaign analysis.
So, what would move our contactless donation box from good to great?
We made sure that our supply chain is backed by the strongest companies, you can be sure your donations are safe and secure and will be deposited into your bank account, from the UK, just a few days after processing.
Then we added a slight tweak to our software, our secret sauce. What that means in simple terms is that wherever you are and whatever card type your donor uses, be that Visa, MasterCard, ApplePay or Google Pay we’ll be able to process it. No signal, no problem.
Now there are always exceptions, unfortunately if a donor doesn’t have the funds, if a card has been reported lost or stolen or if the cardholder has locked the card so that a pin needs to be used then no contactless box will process that payment, ours included.
